ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING MINUTES

The Ontario Limousin Association would like to encourage Ontario CLA members to vote in the selection of the 50th Anniversary National Show and Sale in 2019.
You should have received a ballot from the CLA in the mail late last week or early this week asking you to vote for Canadian Western Agribition in Saskatchewan or the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Ontario.
The Bid information can be found in the CLA newsletter that came out earlier this month.
There is some background information that the CLA has not provided that we feel is important for CLA members to understand when voting.
– There is an established rotation that has been followed for many years including Farm Fair in Alberta, Agribition in Saskatchewan, Brandon Winter Fair in Manitoba, and the Royal Winter Fair in Ontario.
– It is Ontario’s turn in 2019.
-Ontario has the largest showing of Limousin Cattle larger than all other venues in Canada and North America.
-The CLA 30th was in Alberta.
-The CLA 40th was in Saskatchewan.
– The OLA has a very active Board, membership, and Juniors that are prepared to take on the responsibility.
The OLA is asking for you to send in your ballot with your membership number, name and signature and please vote for Royal Winter Fair, Toronto, Ontario.
If everyone from Ontario votes for Ontario, it will help us to showcase this event.
